About the Gala

The Boulder Impact Gala is an award dinner and charity fundraising event honoring community leaders who make a bold impact on Boulder City through their dedication, vision, and generosity. Join us in celebrating those who help shape a brighter future, while raising funds to support our mission. Every dollar raised stays in Boulder City. Every ticket sold makes a difference.

Inaugural Night | October 25, 2025

We're launching the Boulder Impact Gala this year because the need has never been greater. The numbers don't lie. Food insecurity in Southern Nevada jumped 40% in just two years. Nearly 380,000 people in our area now struggle to put food on the table.

Our answer? Raise $75,000 to provide thousands of meals, help families keep their AC running, and make sure BC kids are heading to school well-fed and ready to learn.

We want our premier gala to be an event Boulder City will remember fondly — and we’d love for you to be among the select few who can say "I was there."

Boulder Impact Award

On our first BIG night, we're honoring Jack and Sandy Edwards for their lifetime of service, generosity, and leadership in Boulder City and beyond. Jack, a decorated U.S. Air Force veteran, and Sandy, a dedicated nurse and educator, built businesses in Southern Nevada while devoting their free time to community service. Together they strengthened EABC through fundraising, grant writing, and the holiday kettle program, supported youth as long-time Scout leaders, volunteered thousands of hours with the Salvation Army and Oregon State Parks, and gave tirelessly through their church and civic life. Their legacy of family, service, and neighborly care reflects the very heart of EABC’s mission: neighbors helping neighbors.

Frequently asked questions

Does the money raised stay in Boulder City?

Every dollar raised by EABC, whether through individual donations, grants, or events like the Boulder Impact Gala, stays in Boulder City. Our mission focuses our support on residents of our town who need ongoing food pantry support or emergency financial aid, as well as occasional assistance to travelers stranded here.

How can my company sponsor the event?

View our Sponsorship Packet.

Sponsorships and program ads can be purchased by mail with a check or online through our donation portal HERE.

Is there a dress code?

This is our BIG night, but we're not being stuffy about it. We're asking guests to leave the black tie at home but arrive in dressy casual attire. Think cocktail party with coworkers - but fun.

What's planned other than dinner?

We'll begin the evening with a cocktail hour and live music. A silent auction will run throughout the evening, and prize and cash raffles will be awarded at the end of the night. We'll also present our Impact Award to this year's guests of honor, Jack and Sandy Edwards.

What's on the menu?

We've brought an amazing caterer on board to create family-style Italian dishes that should cater to hearty appetites. We'll have vegetarian options, as well as meaty ones. Dinner will include appetizers, dinner entree, and dessert.

Where is the gala being held?

The Boulder Impact Gala will take place in the Community Event Center at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. While the venue is on the church campus, EABC and the Gala are entirely secular and welcome to all. Churches played an important role in Boulder City’s early history of community support, and hosting at St. Andrew’s both honors that legacy and helps keep costs low so more funds directly benefit the community.
